Chickens weigh between 4.01 - 4.5 lbs.

These chickens have been spatchcocked: their spines are removed so that they will lay flat or “butterflied” while cooking. This technique makes grilling a whole bird very easy, speeds up roasting time and exposes more skin, allowing it to crisp up nicely! Neck, spine and feet are included in the bag for making delicious chicken stock.

Our birds are pasture-raised out on grass. They only eat organic feed and are never given hormones, vaccinations or antibiotics. They live a happy life doing what chickens do: scratching for bugs and roaming the pasture!!
